S224 : Earlier Antique German Barleycorn Chess Set
Kings are 9.8cms tall. Early 19th century finely turned and and carved.
The knights are particularly nicely carved with flowing manes, urn form pawns.
Comes in its original stained slide lid box with faint inscrptions on the boxes base.
