S108: Rare Italian Anri Carved and Polychromed wood chess set with gilding in gold and silver. Set comes in fine fitted casket
This was a very expensive version of the Montsalvat form set Anri made - both because of the gilding of the pieces and the elaborate casket. Kings 14cms - 5.5" tall
The pieces are weighted in the bases for balance and the set comes with an Anri chess catalog page. This would make a wonderful presentation gift.
