S109: Rare Original Antique English Hallett Chess Set in boxwood and ebony, mid 19th century
Good patina, very specific form,very few original sets are known, kings 7.5cms tall
This design is attributed to the maker William Hallett of High Holborn London and have some similiarities to the "Dublin" pattern sets
